The ratings/reviews displayed here may not be representative of every listing on this page, or of every review for these listings.

Above are some of my favorite cards from the Majors (although it kind of looks like the Fool has a scrotum dangling from his chin, which strikes me as odd).

The printed card meanings are fairly rudimentary - a description of basic symbolism and short phrase meanings for upright and reversed positioning – but are enough to give the Tarot novice something to work with. In structure it owes the most to the Visconti: Justice is placed at VIII and Strength at XI, and the numbered minor arcana cards are pips, rather than the illustrated scenes most often attributed to the Rider-Waite. Full details of your rights under the Distance Selling Regulations are available in the UK from your local Citizens' Advice Bureau or your Local Authority's Trading Standards Office. The fact of the matter is, these source images are not originally Tarot cards, and some of them had to be manipulated pretty severely to fit the Tarot tradition. Of especial alteration of note is its closer resemblance to imagery as depicted on the Waite/Colman Smith deck (published variously, but often referred to as the ‘Rider-Waite’).Learn about each of the 36 classic cards, and practice creating pairs, building up to more complex readings. The Minor Arcana carry the number and title across the bottom, black text on a white background with the first letter of each word in red.

It expresses the symbolism of Tarot using artworks from the time period when Tarot emerged; and even though I don’t have a personal taste for that kind of art, the choice of period totally works.

Intentional or not, it doesn’t look good and I’m guessing will look even worse with use as the black pentagram outline actually wear off. But it also comes with an introduction from Kat Black and a discussion of the source images used in the deck, and the LWB is worth reading for that material alone.

I am not a small-handed man, but my handspan is not wide enough to hold these cards end-to-end for a riffle shuffle. Each class would feature a newer deck that I thought was significant in its readability and unique contribution to the tarot world. Golden Tarot is a compilation of collages from artwork of the late Middle Ages and early Renaissance.com, the Sell on Etsy app, and the Etsy app, as well as the electricity that powers Etsy’s global offices and employees working remotely from home in the US. In the original RWS Two of Swords, the moon is a waxing crescent moon near the right corner of the card. I found this to be quite an intriguing deck - something that I would personally use, as well as being a deck that I would offer as a choice for my clients. For example, the Golden Tarot of Klimt is beautiful, but I don’t know Gustav Klimt’s artwork all that well.
