About this deal

This is one of my favourite protein bars out there – it makes Grenade’s ‘Caramel Chaos’ look like a chunk of cardboard in comparison. I can’t recommend highly enough.

Refrigerate the cheesecake in the pan for at least 4 hours, at least overnight is best. Cheesecake can be made a day in advance. Whip the heavy cream. In a large bowl add the heavy cream. Whip on high speed until stiff peaks form.For 213 kcal you get 7.2g fat, 2.3g sugar and 20g protein. The carb count is slightly higher than usual at 20g, but with the inclusion of lemon peel you can’t really complain! Triple Choc Deluxe 6/10.

My family really liked it (kids too), as did a few people I shared it with. BUT, if you prefer your desserts to be on the fairly sweet side, you may feel free to add a few extra tablespoons of sugar to the filling. To add the finishing touches, decorate your cheesecake with Ferrero Rocher truffles and chopped toasted hazelnuts. Enjoy! The bar looks pleasant enough. Dark chocolate coating, gentle scent of cocoa, obvious cookie-like texture. On the inside the ‘cream’ aspect is obvious, sandwiched between two crunchy layers. It’s one of the higher calorie bars at 217kcal, but for this you get 9.3g fat, 15g carbs, just 1.5g sugar, and 20g protein. As in the Chocolate Peanut Butter flavour, collagen hydrolysate features on the ingredients list, but as with all Fulfil’s bars you are getting 30% of your vitamin RDA. You also have the option to use the Nutella ganache as a full glaze. You don’t have to drizzle it on as I did, just spread a very thin layer over the top of the cheesecake.The macros are nothing to complain about – 195 kcal, 7.3g fat, 11.1g carbs, 21.2g protein – and the protein comes from whey, but there are much better flavours out there. Chocolate Orange 9/10. The macros for each flavour varies slightly, ranging between 180-220 calories, 15-20g carbs and 8-10g fat, but all have at least 20g protein and under 3g sugar. To make the Nutella ganache (see notes): Combine the chocolate hazelnut spread and heavy cream in a small microwave-safe bowl. Microwave f0r 30 seconds at 50% power. Stir. Repeat as needed until smooth and a little runny. Let it rest for a few minutes until it's not hot, then drizzle over the chilled cheesecake. Flavour-wise, each individual element is great. The caramel is rich and deep and the dark chocolate hits the spot with its blend of sweet bitterness. Once incorporated, gently and slowly stir in hazelnut butter. You should end up with a shiny homogenous ganache (SEE NOTES for troubleshooting). Keep the bowl over the warm pot until ready to use.

Jaffa Cakes, Terry’s Chocolate Orange, Lindt Orange Intense, Grenade Jaffa Quake – anything chocolate orange is good stuff to me, and this is no exception. I had never really thought about pairing lemon with white chocolate, but it works so well – creamy, sweet and slightly tart at the same time. The lemon flavour is authentic, and the addition of lemon chunks (peel maybe?) is really going above and beyond.I’m a huge fan of white chocolate, and white chocolate cookie dough is my dream come true (#dreambig), so I had high hopes for this bar. I was actually really disappointed by the flavour and texture of this bar – it’s not good – and I haven’t had it again since. The macros are good, the vitamins are a nice addition, but you’re still better off popping a multi-vitamin and going elsewhere for your protein fix. Dark Chocolate & Mint

This bar weighs in at 60g, 5g more than Fulfil’s standard 55g, explained by the more dense and chewy core. The macros are still stellar with 207 kcal, 8.4g fat, 11.7g carbs, 2.1g sugar, and 20.6g protein. There’s also a hefty 11.2g fibre in there and the protein comes from milk. Whipped Milk (three ways) is easy to make and fun to drink! Whip up (literally!) your favorite flavors like hazelnut, mint chocolate, or strawberry and serve atop iced milk for a decadent treat kids and adults alike will love. Hazelnuts aren’t usually sold toasted, but you can learn how to toast hazelnuts here. Extra toasted hazelnuts are absolutely delicious over granola or yogurt!

Sugar– Use confectioners’ (or “powdered”) sugar here, though granulated will work too. How to Make Nutella Whipped Cream This bar looks incredible. I love that Fulfil have replaced crispies with hazelnut pieces, much like the Chocolate Peanut Butter flavour. There’s a wonderful smell of hazelnut, inside it’s the classic three-layer bar we’ve come to know and love. Macros are what we’ve come to expect from Fulfil – 203 kcal, 13g fat, 19g carbs, 2.7g sugar and 20g protein. The carb count is slightly higher than other bars, but they have used real orange peel to add flavour so can you really complain? Lemon Zinger 10/10.
