The right candidate for this role will be experienced in working with complex administrative/organisational processes, using Microsoft Office Suite, and ideally have worked within a healthcare or other helpline/charitable service setting. This course is for students who have already acquired Level 2 Counselling Skills and want to take the next step in training to become a counsellor, leading to a nationally regulated qualification awarded by the Counselling and Psychotherapy Awarding Body (CPCAB). a minimum of 500 hours post qualifying supervised counselling practice working with children and young people.

The post holder will form part of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to ensure that agreed organisational objectives are achieved and implemented. TIC+ is a Gloucestershire based charity which is committed to Crisis Prevention, Intervention and Care for teenagers. This is achieved through education in schools and through a range of advice, support counselling and care services, including advice over the phone. They operate in various schools in the county and at various counselling centres. They work in the Forest of Dean, Stroud, Tewkesbury, Cheltenham and Gloucester districts. They provide advice to parents (including parenting courses and family counselling as well as working with young people on an individual basis. They can offer advice - or sign-post - on most issues relating to young people. We share anonymised information with organisations and people who fund the service. We also share anonymised information with researchers from universities who use it to study the impact and effect of the tic+chat service, and follow all legal requirements for this. No identifiable information will ever be shared outside of our organisation for research purposes.The majority of sessions will be delivered face-to-face. The role may also include working with small groups of young people or parents. Excellent and up to date understanding of employment law and application of HR emerging best practice. The successful applicant will support the Head of Fundraising & Communication to generate income and achieve targets, in line with the community and events strategy, using a variety of fundraising methods and relationships within the community.
