The key parts of the sound have a pleasingly ‘forward’ impact, too and while more ambient parts of the soundtrack tend to sound like they’re coming from slightly behind the screen, the way this combines with the forward part of the sound actually creates an enjoyable 3D effect. There’s some blurring on fast motion like sport, and the TV lacks the necessary frame interpolation features to address this, but it handles 24p content without introducing judder, and movies retain a pleasing film-like quality. The Vizio is a better choice for watching movies in a dark room, as it has much better contrast and better black uniformity.It handles moderate amounts of light well, but considering it doesn't get bright, it's best to avoid placing it in a bright room.
